その着せ替え人形は恋をする ・ Officially certified on the Anime Tourism 88 (2024–2025)
In My Dress-Up Darling, protagonist Wakana Gojo is training to inherit the family craft of the hina-doll head maker (kashirashi) — and Iwatsuki, a ward of Saitama City, is Japan’s historic “doll town” (Ningyo no Machi Iwatsuki). Building on that setting tie, Saitama City ran an official collaboration, “Doll Town Iwatsuki × My Dress-Up Darling” (10 Jan 2025 to 9 Mar 2026 per the city press release), with stamp-rally points and character panels. To be honest about it: the city’s own material frames these locations as collaboration and stamp-rally stops tied to the “doll town” setting, not as shot-by-shot filming backgrounds — so this page presents them that way and does not invent scene-by-scene claims. The manga has sold 11 million-plus copies and enjoys strong recognition among Chinese-speaking fans.

Getting there and routing the pilgrimage
Iwatsuki sits in Saitama City and is reached via Iwatsuki Station on the Tobu Noda Line (Tobu Urban Park Line): transfer from Omiya, or come in from the Kasukabe side of the Tobu Skytree Line. Saitama City’s official page identifies Iwatsuki Station and its east-west free passage as the access point for the tourist information centre but does not state a minute count from central Tokyo (we do not guess it here). Once there, the central spots are mostly walkable — a good fit for a half-day light pilgrimage. The work also has a certified point in Toshima Ward (Ikebukuro), an easy add-on if you are already in central Tokyo.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Q1:Are the Iwatsuki spots the actual filming locations for the anime?
- To be honest: Saitama City frames these locations as collaboration and stamp-rally stops tied to the “doll town Iwatsuki” setting, not as shot-by-shot filming backgrounds. This page follows that official framing and does not invent scene-by-scene claims.
- Q2:What is Iwatsuki’s connection to My Dress-Up Darling?
- Protagonist Wakana Gojo aspires to become a hina-doll head maker, and Iwatsuki is Japan’s historic doll town. Saitama City ran an official collaboration on that setting tie, linking the work to the local doll-making culture.
- Q3:How do I get to Iwatsuki from Tokyo?
- Take the Tobu Noda Line to Iwatsuki Station, transferring at Omiya or coming in from the Kasukabe side of the Tobu Skytree Line. The official page gives no minute count from central Tokyo; check the Tobu Railway timetable for exact times.
- Q4:How long does the Iwatsuki pilgrimage take?
- The central spots — Iwatsuki Station, the exchange hall, the local history museum, the castle-ruins park and the tourist information centre — are mostly walkable, so a half-day light pilgrimage is plenty.
